Before the bloodcurdling news of Pratyusha Banerjee’s suicide could find bed to settle, Priyanka Chopra’s ex manager, Prakash Jaju, blasted open the lid off the suicide attempt of the international star, which she made back in her struggling days in 2002. This one piece of news holds ample substance to change a LOT of mindsets and customs in Bollywood and outside. What farmer suicides cannot do for the common ailing man, celebrity suicide attempts can, harsh bit but honest.

 

As much of a frivolous route Priyanka’s manager might have resorted to to bare these details, the news has reached the remotest of media corners. Here’s what Jaju tweeted:

Priyanka and Prakash have been at loggerheads ever since Chopra allegedly abruptly terminated Prakash's contract, and Prakash filed a criminal lawsuit against the actress in the Mumbai court. Things became uglier in public when in 2008, Priyanka's father filed a suit against Prakash for ‘intruding his daughter's privacy’. This led to Prakash serving 67 days in prison.

We cannot wait to hear Priyanka's word on this. Or is it a cloaked publicity gimmick? But does Priyanka really need this right now? Or does Jaju? Anyway, media, time to expose attempter number 2?
